Saturday Sail Training
The Lake Osoyoos Sailing Club usually offers beginner/intermediate adult (+18) sailing classes on 4 consecutive Saturday mornings in the spring and fall. The program provides 10 hours of sail training in Laser and Club sailboats, the use of a sailboat, and the use of all required safety equipment.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is unclear whether or not this program will be offered during the 2020 sailing season. Please check back for updates or speak to an LOSC executive member. This program is free to LOSC members and is open to non-members. Non-members have two exciting options. 1. Join LOSC Now With a membership fee of $150 (the initiation fee of $250 is waived this year), sail training is free for two adult family members. This will provide you with ongoing access to the club, as well as dining privileges at our famous Sunday potlucks. 2. Purchase the sail training for $150 per person. If you decide to join the club, these funds will be applied towards your membership. Space is limited to 10 participants. The program will operate as follows: 09:15 AM - arrive at clubhouse 09:30 AM - rig and launch boats for sailing on water 12:00 PM - off the water, stow boats and equipment 12:30 PM - end of class For more information or to register, contact the club via email at [email protected] OR click on the button below.
