With the arrival of spring, please be aware that lake levels will rise and that the rise may be rapid.  Those members with boats on the beach should monitor their boat's status on a regular basis and be prepared to move their boat, if required.

It has also been reported that several boats shifted during the recent high wind events.  Some by several feet!  Again, if you store a boat on the beach, you should consider anchoring it down and checking it after high winds.

Spring is finally here, so why not have a regatta?  The LOSC will be hosting a one-day Spring Regatta on Sunday, April 28th.  This event will be for LOSC members only.  Notice of Race to be posted soon.

Please mark your calendars as it will soon be time to tidy up the grounds and club house in preparation of the sailing season. 

On Sunday, April 14th, please come down to the club for our annual spring clean-up.  Bring your gardening tools and gloves.  Help will be needed both around the grounds and inside the club house.  We will also be putting the dock into the water.

A hot lunch will be served to all volunteers.

This clean-up activity is a great way to connect with friends and to get in some volunteer hours.
