Hear ye, hear ye!  Our first formal potluck is on Sunday, May 27th.  (An informal potluck will occur this Sunday, May 20th.)

If you've been missing the wonderful food, your wait is almost over.

Also, don't forget to sign up for hosting a potluck.  The sign-up sheet is on the bulletin board by the chimney. This is a great opportunity to accumulate some volunteer hours, as well as to meet new club members. Your support of the social component of our club is greatly appreciated.

Over the past few days there has been a significant rise in the lake water level.  As a result, all of the boats have been moved up onto the lawn.  It is expected that the water will continue to rise in the coming days and that sandbags will need to be placed around the lower storage shed.

The LOSC executive will endeavor to keep members informed.  At this point, it is expected that lake water levels will be as high as last year or even higher.  If sandbagging is required, volunteers would be greatly appreciated.
